Belonging in the Outdoors
‘Belonging in the Outdoors’ is a unique partnership of several North Central Washington nonprofit organizations. In 2023, the NCW Equity Alliance and TREAD held a film-and-workshop series to gather input from community members about how to make the outdoors more accessible and welcoming to all.
Background
More than 150 community members attended the series, dedicating time and energy to listen, learn, and offer up ideas that ultimately became the actionable steps featured in this report.

At each event we watched short films, hosted a panel discussion, and gathered ideas for future actionable steps.
